Parenthood is pain. A deep pain that you never knew before. And then there is worry. Constant worry that finds you even when you sleep. Relentless worry. And pain.
And it’s all just really sad.
But then there are these beautiful moments that break through. And you for a moment you see God in it all. Everything. This beautiful sort of awful grace that makes sense of it all. And you fill with gratitude and joy. And you know it’s all part of the plan.
And you love deeply. And you cry. And you grow.
And you keep going.
