📡 Signals

Highly adaptable is better than highly educated.

“Business” is not a skill you learn in a book. Do what you love and get really good at it — the business part will take care of itself.

Chaos scales faster than anything. But sometimes chaos creates an environment for good things to grow. Be wary of people who want to plan everything.

Have an opinion, but own the risk associated with that opinion. The louder you are, the greater the risk. The greater the risk the greater the reward.

the gods wait to delight in you

The Laughing Heart by Charles Bukowski
your life is your life
don’t let it be clubbed into dank submission.
be on the watch.
there are ways out.
there is light somewhere.
it may not be much light but
it beats the darkness.
be on the watch.
the gods will offer you chances.
know them.
take them.
you can’t beat death but
you can beat death in life, sometimes.
and the more often you learn to do it,
the more light there will be.
your life is your life.
know it while you have it.
you are marvelous
the gods wait to delight
in you.

Work Life Blur

I have never really fully grasped the term "work-life balance." The expression makes it feel like working and life are two separate things.

They are not.

The goal is for work and life to be blurred

When you find what you are supposed to do, work and life become one. There is not a separate you that works and a separate you that has a life. There is just you. And the work is a part of you.

When work and life are blurred, you are able to be your authentic self at all times. This brings balance.

The real work is finding out what you want your life's work to be. I believe we all have some intuition about what we were meant to do – our calling – but often times people choose not to listen and fail to recognize the signs left by God along our path.
