Steph got me this killer Nokona baseball glove for Father's Day. It's quickly become one of my all-time favorite things. It's not so much the glove itself, but the idea of playing catch with Sonny in the years to come. I'm already wearing it as I pitch him Nerf balls inside the house. He'll bring me a Nerf ball and tell me to get my glove. He loves baseball. One day, I will take him to the factory in Texas, and we'll pick out his glove together. How can you not be romantic about baseball?

We sold our house (adding a few images here just for purposes of remembering). Wrote a big, long post about it. Never posted it. Too emotional and also a bit corny. I felt a lot of attachment to the house after all the work we'd put in. At the same time, though, it's wild how light you feel when you detach from things.

My parents have come out to help during the transition period. It was wonderful to have my Dad out for Father's day. Steph got us tickets behind home plate at a Rockies game -- Sonny got to see his first baseball game with his pop. Very special.
